General Terms and Conditions:
Whilst every possible care is taken to ensure that the goods sold are suitable for the purpose intended, Mackay Gun Shop accepts no responsibility for the damage or injury to property or persons resulting from sales or use of such goods. All goods supplied by Townsville Gun shop will not pass to the purchaser until such time as the goods have been paid for in full.
Warranties:
All new goods sold shall be warranted by the manufacturer's warranty where so specified provided that the manufacturer's instructions are complied with in all aspects. All freight and associated costs will be at the expense of the purchaser unless otherwise agreed upon. Second hand firearms are sold on an 'as is' basis for visual defects on inspection, however a 3 month warranty from the date of purchase from Townsville Gun Shop MAY be offered for other defects. All warranties will be considered void if the goods have not been used in a proper manner for which they were designed or if repairs have been attempted by persons not authorised to do so by Townsville Gun Shop. All freight and
associated costs incurred returning goods to Townsville Gun Shop shall be at the purchasers expense.
Storage Terms:
Any weapons stored at Townsville Gun Shop under a storage agreement will be charged at $35.00 per month with payment periods due one month in advance.
Storage fees are due on the 1st of every month. Storage charges are calculated on the current full calendar month or part thereof. Unclaimed firearms and/or unpaid storage fees can be disposed of at Townsville Gun Shops discretion in accordance with the storage terms.
In the event a firearm storage account is found to be 90days in arrears Townsville Gun Shop reserves the right to recover storage fees and administrative costs (This will occur only after all provided methods of contact have proven unsuccessful.)
Returned goods:
No cash refunds are available where you have simply changed your mind. A store credit or exchange may be offered where an original tax
invoice is produced and goods must be in ORIGINAL UNDAMAGED FACTORY PACKAGING. Sale items are non-returnable. Returned
goods due to warranty claims will be assessed and processed as per our warranties policy. If fault is found then the item will be repaired, if
possible. If item is unrepairable then a replacement, store credit or refund will be offered.
