The Hawke Vantage IR 3-9x40 1" Rimfire .22LR Subsonic is a purpose-built riflescope designed for shooters who rely on subsonic rimfire ammunition. Compact and versatile, it is built on a strong 1-inch mono-tube chassis that ensures durability while keeping weight low. The wide-angle optical system provides an excellent field of view, making it easier to track moving targets and maintain awareness in both hunting and recreational shooting. This model features a glass-etched .22LR Subsonic ballistic reticle, calibrated for subsonic loads at 1057 fps (322 m/s). When zeroed at 50 yards on 9x magnification, the reticle provides accurate aim points for extended ranges. For metric shooters, the scope can also be zeroed at 50m with aim points correct when set to 7x magnification. The illuminated reticle, with red and green options and five brightness levels, ensures visibility in low light conditions. Fully multi-coated lenses with 11 layers maximise light transmission and clarity, delivering a crisp sight picture from dawn to dusk. The Vantage IR 3-9x40 includes capped low-profile turrets with ¼ MOA fingertip adjustments, a fast-focus eyebell, and a high-torque zoom ring for smooth operation.
