The Hornady Custom Grade Series I 243 Winchester Full Length 2‑Die Set is engineered to deliver precision, consistency, and long service life for reloaders who demand quality. The set includes a full length sizing die and a bullet seating die, giving reloaders the essential tools to produce reliable ammunition for the popular .243 Winchester cartridge. Hornady’s Zip Spindle™ design positively locks to eliminate slippage, with light threads cut on both the spindle and collet allowing for incremental or rapid adjustments. The Sure‑Loc™ lock rings clamp around the entire die body, applying constant pressure to hold settings firmly in place without damaging threads. The internal die profile is precision machined and polished to a smooth finish, reducing friction and preventing case sticking. For pistol dies, Hornady’s titanium nitride “gold ring” finish is harder than carbide, resizes without lubrication, and resists scratching brass cases.
