Product Overview

Speer 55gr Spitzer Soft Point projectiles (S1047) are designed for varmint and small game applications where controlled expansion and minimal pelt damage are preferred. The spitzer profile enhances accuracy and flat trajectory, while the jacketed soft point construction ensures reliable terminal performance. Manufactured using Speer’s Hot-Cor® process, the core is bonded to the jacket by pouring molten lead directly into the jacket, eliminating voids and improving weight retention. With a ballistic coefficient of 0.212 and sectional density of 0.157, this bullet maintains velocity and resists wind drift, making it suitable for cartridges such as .223 Rem, .22-250, .222 Rem, and .220 Swift. This is a box of 100 bullets, not loaded ammunition. Suitable for licensed reloaders using bolt-action or semi-auto rifles chambered in .224 calibre.
